Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) today announced that it is introducing an innovative consumer experience for TV, called broadcast interactivity, on its Yahoo! Connected TV platform, which brings Internet-enhanced television to millions of consumers across the world’s most popular TV brands. The new feature is slated to launch with select national broadcast and cable TV leaders and top brand advertisers. Yahoo! is collaborating with ABC, CBS, HSN, and Showtime on content for a pilot program in the first half of 2011, and will showcase examples of the broadcast interactivity feature at CES (Booth #36201, South Hall 4, LVCC). Brand advertisers Ford, Mattel and Microsoft are also planning to work with Yahoo! to deliver interactivity with their TV advertising. Read the rest of this entry

YouTube have today started testing out some new features for the homepage. This is supposed to help you view your subscriptions better and a few other changes. The inbox has also moved to the front page, when you get a message or comment it will be displayed at the top of the YouTube HomePage. Marketing automation key to small business’ 25 percent sales growth

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, has announced the release of the music video for indie band OK Go’s latest song, “Last Leaf.” The video was filmed using the new Samsung NX100, Samsung’s latest innovation in premium camera technology, and is available to view today at www.cre8yourworld.com.
The “Last Leaf” video was made using thousands of photographs taken with the Samsung NX100, woven together to create a stop motion animation clip, demonstrating the NX100′s technical capabilities and creative versatility. The images were combined with hand-drawn animations created by the band, along with award-winning animator Geoff McFettridge.
