Photo by Robert ScobleJust a quick update. Guy Kawasaki and his team have featured ReviewsFromtheShed on AllTop! AllTop is the number one place to go for all your information. We appear in the Geek section of AllTop here http://geeks.alltop.com/ (We are at the bottom Chris Pirillo pretty much dominates everything geek)
So what is AllTop? Well you can think of Alltop as the “online magazine rack” of the web. They have subscribed to thousands of sources to provide “aggregation without aggravation.” To be clear, Alltop pages are starting points—they are not destinations per se. Ultimately, their goal is to enhance your online reading by displaying stories from sources that you’re already visiting plus helping you discover sources that you didn’t know existed.
If you would like to link us please do, we are in the process of creating some funky graphics for you to use but for now a text link will do.

Photo by OrcooI have just placed my order for a new graphics card. It is the XFX NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB. Yes I know it is not an all singing all dancing GFX Card to be writing home about but it is still not to shabby at the same time.
The specs seem to be pretty good for a lower end SLi graphics card. It has 112 Processing streams, so that should speed up my video rendering. For all you gamers out there it has support for Full Microsoft DirectX10 Shader Model 4.0, making games more realistic and better 3D rendering. It is dual screen compatible, I cannot live without my dual screen set up.

Photo by Joel WashingI just bought myself a new 1 TB hard drive. It is a Samsung SpinPoint F1 (HD103UJ) and it has 32MB of cache and runs at 7200RPM. So far it has been a great investment. It has not had a problem sucking up my 600GB worth of file I threw at as soon as I got it!
The speed is pretty good, a lost faster than the old IDE drives I had in this machine. Formatted it has a usable space of 931GB formatted on a Windows 7 system using NTFS file format. My motherboard recognised it straight away without a hitch, my motherboard is about 3 years old. Read the rest of this entry

Do you want to make money with YouTube? Well they have made it easier for non partners to do so. If you have viral video that YouTube like they could offer you revenue sharing. This means they will share some of the revenue they make from adverts they put on your videos.
YouTube are also messing with the idea of making storyboards available. This will allow collaboration between people when making videos.
Heard of Crackle yet? You will do. Crackle is part of the Sony group and the ones behind the full length Ghostbusters film on YouTube. At present these full film are available for residents of the U.S. Maybe in the future they will open this up to non U.S. residents.
Lastly I have started a new review channel called ReviewsFromTheShed. It will specialise in LiveReviews where you the public can take part by asking questions about the product as I review it. Stay tuned.
